Loft ConversionConverting your loft to form extra rooms to increase the living space is very popular. However, the structural design and build of a loft conversion is often more complicated than a simple extension. At Planning- Building we will take care of Local authority Planning permission and building regulation applications for your loft conversion or roof extension. Usually, the design will essentially match the existing architectural features of your of your home and keep the roof projection as unobtrusive as possible. Most lofts can be converted. The most important factor is the which needs to be at least 2.1m. If not achieveable, our strutural engineer will look into the possibility of lowering the ceiling level to achieve the above.
